No two dumpster jobs are the same, which is why we quote each one instead of publishing a price list. The trailer is only part of it. What goes in, how much it weighs, how long it sits in your driveway and how far we drive all change the cost of hauling and dumping it.

Here's everything that goes into a Kingdom Haulers quote, so you know what we'll ask and why.

The six things that set your quote

1. 01

   The size of the trailer

   A 12 yard (6×12×4 ft) or a 20 yard (7×16×4 ft). The bigger trailer holds more and costs more to haul. Picking the right size is the easiest way to keep cost down. See the size guide.

2. 02

   What's going in it

   Household junk and furniture are bulky but light. Shingles, drywall, tile and plaster are heavy for their size, and heavier debris costs more to dump.

3. 03

   How long it stays

   Tell us how long the project will run. We confirm the rental length when you book, so you know how long the trailer can stay.

4. 04

   How heavy the load is

   Weight affects dumping and safe travel. We'll go over any weight limits for what you're loading when you book.

5. 05

   Where it's going

   Red Lion is about 10 minutes from our Felton base, York about 25 to 30, and Hanover 45 minutes to an hour on scheduled runs. Distance is part of every quote.

6. 06

   Where it sits

   Your own driveway is simplest. The street may need a permit, including in the City of York. See dumpster permits in York, PA.

How to get an accurate quote

The more we know, the more accurate the quote. Call or text (717) 479-2744 or send the quote form with:

• The project: cleanout, remodel, roof tear-off, landscaping or something else
• Photos of the space or the pile, and of where the trailer would go
• Your address, so we know the drive
• Your dates: when you need it and how long the project should take
• Anything heavy or unusual, like shingles, tile or appliances

Ways to keep your cost down

1. Pick the right size

   Don't pay to haul empty space, and don't run out of room mid-project.

2. Keep banned items out

   Set aside paint, chemicals, batteries and anything with Freon before you start loading.

3. Load it well

   Break down furniture, lay flat pieces on the bottom and fill gaps so the space goes further.

4. Book ahead

   We have one trailer of each size, so an early call gives you the best shot at your dates.
